Tuesday Skit Crew -- The Bad Guys Are Stealing All the Energy

Day Three of our skit and the evil toys are successfully proceeding with their plan to take over Andy’s room by gathering all of the extra batteries and leaving the good guys starved for energy.  Meanwhile our heroes are left to ponder the mysterious note that was found by Ken and Barbie, encouraging them to “Protect the numbers and find the envelope.”

Weakened by a lack of batteries, the good guys are currently (see what I did there?) no match for Zurg, Lotso and the rest of the bad toys who kidnap Jessie. In another out-of-the-blue plot turn, one of Zurg’s hench-toys defects to the good guys, freeing Jessie, revealing himself as the author of note and also carrying a locked box in which, he claims, contains the answer to their need for power. This is the very same toy who dropped off an envelope to Skid on Sunday morning at the end of the sermon – an envelope that he says contains the correct sequence of the numbers to open the box, an envelope he says was given to a man named David Skidmore.

The plot continues to intensify. Will the good guys track down David Skidmore and get the envelope to open the lock box and power up before they are completely starved of the power they need to live? Will Lotso and Zurg’s evil plot work? Will they take over Andy’s room and relegate the good toys to the attic or worse? Will Ken and Barbie reach their ultimate goal of landing on a totally matching his and hers fashion ensemble? Will Raggedy Andy expand his vocabulary beyond saying, “Yeeeeeaaaaaaah?” Will T-Rex ever successfully nail a high five with his puny little arms? So many plot lines needing to be tied up with just one night left in the show. Will our story come to any conclusion? Let alone a satisfying one?

Lord knows.

The evil toys come together to compare their haul of available batteries.

The messenger introduced at our church service on Sunday defects to the good guys with the locked box.

And now a review of our growing cast of characters.

Lotso, Zurg and their crew of evil toys, save for the messenger on the left. He'll turn out to be an angel in disguise for the good guys because in a Skid skit, as i life, nothing is ever as it appears.

Our toy soldiers are always on the ready.

Ken and Barbie, two colorful characters with an equally colorful wardrobe.

It's Woody's Roundup Gang! Come on everyone, sing a long!
Woody's Roundup!
Right here every day.
Woody's Roundup!
Come on, it's time to play.
There's Jessie, the yodeling cowgirl,
(yo-de-la, you-de-la, yo-de-la)
Bullseye, he's woody's horse.
(grrr...he's a smart one)
Pete the old prospector,
and Woody the man himself,
of course.
It's time for Woody's Roundup!
He's the very best.
He's the rootinest tootinest cowboy
in the wild wild west!

Hey, it's the good guys! Woody, Buzz and crew.
Yeah, we're not even sure how this is physically possible, either.

Looks like everyone is ok.

Ham and Rex show off their dance moves.

One of the good guys' many secret weapons.
Looks like Bo knows Toy Story. Kids ask your parents about that reference.

Our cast of minor toys though all play a major role in our show

Buzz and Zurg face off.
Our Toy Story hero meets one of the heroes of the City of Children -- Ricardo, who with his wife serves as the Mexican Directors.
Friends, together trying to make an eternal difference for so many kids.

So many parents and their kids on our crew.
Did you know that Buzz has three daughters?
Buzz and his tech crew.
