Safely Across the Border

Heading across the border.

No, that's the Tijuana arch. We're definitely not in St. Louis.

At the moment, there's singing on the bus. Even after a long day of travel in which we've loaded and unloaded our many bags from the bus to clear the border. But there's smiles all around because we're almost there.

We're all successfully across the border and all of us are accounted for. Please join us in a prayer of thanks. Next stop...the City of Children. From here on out, we'll try to post various activities and updates throughout the day with plenty of pictures of the team.  As the trip progresses through the week, we'll probably get a day behind on our posts but we'll try to keep you as up-to-date as possible. We know it can be a little disconcerting in this age of cell phones not to be able to be daily contact with your loved ones. But part of this journey involves leaving behind some of things that consume so much of our time and attention, to set down our phones and look outward rather than inward and to serve.
